Pre-Conference Training (Monday 10th October and Tuesday 11th October)
Monday 10th October
Symphony System Administration (Monday 10th October, Full Day)
Learn which are the required maintenance reports, change properties, customize toolbars, create overrides, customize policy lists and use format wizards. This course covers the most common, essential tasks of a SD Symphony system administrator.
Cost: $250 per person
Web Services Workshop (Monday 10th October, Half Day - Morning Session)
The SirsiDynix Web Services Workshop is a 4 hour group Hands-On Lab course providing System Administrators access to the most recent SirsiDynix Symphony or Horizon Web Services. Topics covered will include REST calls for GET and POST methods as well as formatting JSON body elements. Attendees will learn the differences between our legacy Web Services and the new ROA Web Services as well as how to interpret requests and responses from various Web Services. Is this class right for you?

Advanced Enterprise (Monday 10th October, Half Day - Afternoon Session)
This class will be exclusively on javascript. It will repeat and refresh the same topic from last year and then expand on that with new topics.

Advanced Enterprise + Web Services Workshop Package (Monday 10th October, Full Day)
This is a package price for those who wish to attend both the Advanced Enterprise and Web Services Workshop.

BLUECloud Central, BLUECloud Cataloguing and BLUECloud Circulation (Monday 10th October, Full Day)
This class will give an overview of navigation of BC Central (previously known as Universal Admin), as well as the creation of Institutions and Staff Users, defining priviledges (see BC465 in Mentor2 for full details). The afternoon will cover specific setups relating to BC Cataloguing and BC Circulation and introductions to each of those modules. Get yourself setup with a BC Central account for BC Cataloguing (via Support case request), bring your laptop and you will be able to look at your instance.
Cost: $250 per person
BLUECloud Analytics Basic and Advanced (Monday 10th October, Full Day)
Basic will help you navigate in the BC Analytics interface, create basic reports using attributes and delivered metrics, use filters to refine the output, schedule reports for delivery via email. Advanced component will cover creating basic dashboards using attributes and derived metrics, format dashoard layouts, set user permissions for objects in Shared Reports, create stand-alone objects, use reports as datasets in dashboards.

BLUECloud Central, BLUECloud Cataloguing and BLUECloud Circulation (Monday 10th October, Full Day)

API Advanced Report Writing
This is a new class and will cover how to create xls spreadsheet data in the fixed format manager from a custom report. How to create custom stylesheet for xml data and how to add the delivered FTP prompts to reports.
Note: This class is only available for any library with an API subscription (included with Platinum Premier subscriptions, or available separately).
Cost: Platinum Premier / Current API Subscriber Only - Free (one member per library)
BLUECloud Analytics - creating your own reports and metrics (Tuesday 11th October, Half Day, Morning)
A new class for more detailed work on creating your own reports and metrics. Please supply ideas of the sorts of reports and metrics you would like to work on.
Cost: $150 per person
BLUECloud Analytics - Stump the Chump (Tuesday 11th October, Half Day, Afternoon)
Bring your own reports and ideas for refinement and help. Supply any information ahead of time sp that the trainer can come prepared.

HIP Administration (Tuesday 11th October, Full Day) - CANCELLED
Never been taught how to manage and make changes to your library's HIP profile? This will cover how to use HIP Admin tools to review your current setup, create new profiles, develop tabsets and select indexes, create pre-formulated searches and categories, cutomize variables, change displays, etc.

Note:
1. All prices are in Australian Dollars and are exclusive of taxes unless otherwise noted.
2. Institutional COSA Members are entitled to two (2) Member Registrations. Additional registration can be purchased by selecting Non-member Registration.
3. Full conference registration includes access to all conference sessions held from Wednesday 12th October - Thursday 13th October (inclusive).Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea are included each day.
4. All tickets (except for the Day ticket) also include the cost of the welcome drinks at the Novotel Hotel (Tuesday 11th October) and ticket to the Conference Dinner at the Geelong Library (Wednesday 12th October).
5. Conference One Day Pass includes access to all conference sessions on the day of the Pass only. Excludes tickets to Welcome Drinks and Conference Dinner.
6. Refunds – please contact Melanie Chin at Melanie.chin@sirsidynix.com if a refund is needed. Full refund is available up until 16 September 2016. After that 50% refund available until 7 October 2016 and no refund if cancelled from 8 October. This is because commitments will already have been made with the hotel regarding catering and we will be unable to fill the space at short notice.

About COSA
Customers of SirsiDynix Australasia Inc. (COSA) is an independent user group for sites using one of SirsiDynix's integrated library systems (Symphony, Unicorn, Horizon and Dynix Classic). COSA is financed through institutional and personal membership subscriptions. It promotes communication amongst its members and with similar user groups around the world. The group holds an annual conference, organised in conjunction with SirsiDynix, to allow the user community to exchange knowledge and ideas as well as facilitate networking and training opportunities. COSA also maintains a private listserv (cosa-l) to allow for communication and discussion on issues that pertain to the Australian, New Zealand and Asia Pacific region and its customer base. COSA offers a mechanism to represent the interests of SirsiDynix customers in the region and to maintain a constructive and collaborative relationship with SirsiDynix. COSA works with SirsiDynix to influence system development for the benefit of Australasian/APAC region customers.
